Sunspot number has climbed to 135 and for once 10m propagation is forecast to be "good" for the first time in weeks.

Good day Roger,

Indeed, 10m is up and down but it is Es season and there are a few surprises to had.

I know of your fondness for 10m WSPR and it is a good mode for observing propagation. There is another alternative that you may not be aware of. It is PropNET and details can be found at propnet.org

Propnet has been around for a while and is under active development. It is in some respects much like wspr and wsprnet only not as popular. PropNET uses short PSK31 transmission and reception reports are aggregated through a central server. I have been monitoring 10m and so far the whole process seems to be working OK. There seems to be little activity outside of North America however.

Just thought I would mention PropNET in case you hadn't heard of it and it may provide another source of 10m interest for you.

cheers, Graham ve3gtc
